46-year-old female dies from breakthrough COVID-19 less than 48 hours after positive test

 A 46-year-old primary school teacher with no known comorbidities died less than 48 hours after testing positive for COVID-19, during the ebbing of Omicron wave in Australia.

All staff on NSW public school sites are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and are expected to access their booster shot when they become eligible.
